Continuing the recipes after a break – a nice simple one to start off with. We have already done a version of this recipe – this second version is very tasty & looks good too!
It works very best with small new potatoes though of course you can use larger ones cut into chunks. You can make it with both fresh and dried fenugreek although the taste will be quite different. Dried is easier to find abroad under the name “kasuri methi“.
For fresh fenugreek in Spain, you will have to plant some seeds in a pot and wait for a few weeks! Use only the top leaves, discarding the stem and bottom leaves.

| 1. Lavar las patatitas bien bien. // Wash the baby new potatoes well. |

5. Esperar 10 segundos y añadir las patatas cocidas. Saltear 3 minutos. // Wait 10 seconds & add the boiled potatoes. Saute for 3 minutes. |

6. Añadir la cebolla y el jengibre picado. Saltear otros 3-4 minutos. // Add the chopped onion and ginger. Saute another 3-4 minutes. |

| 7. Para terminar, añadir el fenugreco seco, sal y pimienta y saltear 1
minuto. Si estais utilizando fenogreco fresco, saltear durante 5 min. // Add the dried fenugreek, salt & pepper & saute 1 minute. If using fresh fenugreek, saute for about 5 min. |
